- Blogging... again... -

25th February, 2007.

I would like to make a toast to me, myself and I, for celebrating couple of events that had happened for the past few weeks. First of all it's the 1st Anniversary of my blog. Happy Birthday to fabian5822.blogspot.com for being 1 year old. No doubt for the past few months i hadn't been update my blog but i will try to push forward and update myself all the time.

Second of all, it's my Birthday. Yes. Valerian Fabian Chung Yun Khim turns 22 this year. One year older in the year of Pig. A year full with eat, sleep and more routine. Regardless of i'm still working in SOP, i wish things would got better this year. On the day of my birthday itself, i had a very taboo experience of listening to the phone while leaving the consequences unbearable. While talking on the phone, i heard broken glass in the house. I totally ignore it because i knew something bad happened. My friend actually broke my favorite clay glass which i bought from one of the church in the suburb area. It's not that i mind, but something like that happened during my birthday is just... bad. (thinking of some vocab to use).

Third of all, Happy Valentine's Day to all the couples around the globe considering i'm still a bachelor here. Anyway, i hope all of u out there enjoy this Month, full of Love. Love is just in the air.

[sitting here blogging] 2333. Raining. Hard to say anything because it's the Eighth Day of Chinese New Year. I mean, am i suppose to feel happy about completing the training i was going through for the past few months in the remote jungle of Borneo? Palm Oil is just another demand from commercializing and practicing on how to manage my future. Like wise, i have to crack my head to start writing the report tomorrow. I wasn't in the mood of doing it considering it's Chinese New Year and everyone was celebrating it in their own way, Piggy way. Friends and relatives coming back for Reunion Dinner. Me?? Came back in time to witness the grand fireworks of Xin Nian. Grand i would say. Again, CNY is not CNY until there's fireworks.

Well, i went to Chinese New Year Mass on the 1st day of Chinese New Year. Later, my cousins, aunties, uncles, come to my place to have breakfast. Just like old times. From the second day onwards, my friends and i visited our friends all over Kuching. As far as i can think about, it was tiring. haven had enough though i had live through 3 months of healthy lives in SOP, things just got ugly somehow. Put it into a positive way of thinking, it's not the end of anything, it's just the beginning.

My experiences of working is SOP is that i know lots of helpful people, generous people who taught me things about the plant, the culture there, how to have a descent meal with palm oil and everything about palm oil from A to Z. I just can forget about the memorable experiences i had obtained. Thanks to the 3 really good Engineer who had help me to understand more about "Live of Engineer in Palm Oil Mill". It's a complement, really. 3 months full of hardness, difficulties and lots and lots of opportunity and choices to make. i wonder why sometimes i couldn't make the best choices and cherish the golden opportunity.

Books Review. Yes, considering i was in the mill spending most of the time with the fruits. Besides Playing cards to kill time, I read one book almost every week. Here's the list and recommended books. Deception Point by Dan Brown; Digital Fortress by Dan Brown; The Knighs Templar by Steve Berry; Seven Deadly Wonders by Matthew Reily and not forgetting about Two readers digest for January and February.

Back here in Kuching. Nostalgic. The place where i was borned. Well, it's been a week plus i came back here and i have been doing lots of things to pampered myself replacing back the past 3 months.

Anyway, life have been away a little. Things eventually will turns out fine. I guess. God bless.

Cheers~!!!!
