- Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2009 -

YAY!!!!! Merry Christmas to all first of all and hope you all do enjoy this Christmas till the fullest. I do enjoy actually, very much.

The weekend before Christmas was jolly good and busy weekend. It was the first time I was drag into the treasure hunt, as stated in my previous post. It's kinda hard the riddle given by the owner. Best of all, we can see everyone is looking for the blue box... pretending they are walking around. Right, as if we don't know you are looking for the blue box too.

Oh well, there goes my weekend. My sis, cousin and I went for another round of MV Doulos. Seems kinda nice the ship at night. Lightnings and all. Basically, they have all kind of facilities they need to survive around the world. People are friendly and the way the do things are pretty facilitate orientated - as in work together as one.

Christmas is a time to celebrate Jesus Christ's Birth but for some who are not Christian, Santa Clause will always come to town, giving out Christmas Present and hoping for white Christmas and someone always saw mommy kissing santa clause. Passing by someone's house where Jingle bells really rocks in some of the pubs and clubbing area. I mean, since when they started count down for every occassion? Even Christmas, "3, 2, 1... Merry Christmas" and people started to kiss under the mistletoe.

It's always been a tradition for my family to gather together during Christmas, singing carols before and after eve's dinner. After that, wishing santa will crash into the chimney with lots of present. Haha... I'm evil... Besides, Christmas is not about carols only, it's about food, YES!!! I made wonderful Shepherd's pie this year and my mom baked cheese cakes for desert, don't forget my cousin also prepare this wonderful yet delighting Christmas Cup Cakes.

Last day working on 26th Dec, which is Boxing day.... Hey, haven told you guys yet, I have receive the best early Christmas Gift ever this year... Guess what is it? Mayb you''ll get the chance to see it in my next post if I got used it. Actually, I have used it so often that I really need a WIFI place in Kuching. The Wifi signal in Kuching really sucks. I have to go to Bing! online everytime. Opss.. Some clues out.

Anyway, before i go, another great things happened. Remember the EggYolks couple that i've mention previously treasure hunting??? YES!!!! You did remember. If not, go back and go to their website because I have been "Cartonise". Haha...

Courtesy from TheEggYolks.blogspot.com... Thanks Egg Yolk.. It looks wonderful and weird seeing me becoming cartoon first time. Haha...

Alright, I think this is it. After blogging on and off in 2008, it has been pleasure for all who drop by and give comments, good or bad, funny sort or criticism, it doesn't matter. The thing matter the most is that we learn from our mistake in 2008 and we will climb even higher in 2009. Do start to make a list of Resolution you gonna achieve in 2009 while those in 2008 that does not achieve, let it go or just make it better in the years to come. Till then, this will probably be my last post for 2008.

Signing off from me, Ian-ization.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2009.

Exhausted from the way manufacturing was pushing it very very tight every single day. Well, what to do. Things are slowing down too, drastically. Guess Christmas is coming soon. Hey, I'm in the Christmas mood also, y know?

Haha... Well, I'm so relieve today after work. Saw a letter on my pc keyboard. It's a Christmas Card... YAY!!! again.. It from my favorite crazy sister... Crazy as in unique la... Don't be mad ok? haha.. Thanks for the wonderful Christmas Card, Melissa and Adeline...

- Wake me up, when December ends -

I ain't gonna cook the sotong goreng for anyone to eat.

Where am I at the moment?

Where should I be?

What should one do if they encounter such difficult situation of being ruthless and careless.

For me, I'm gonna be patience going through this hard time. I know how much it will affect most of us, probably end of the year. It's not a good time to spend on the things we like anymore. Likewise, Save it for the rainy days.

Still don't know what am I talking about? These days, I am pretty much having the same deja vu whether I'm at home or outside somewhere wondering around. Seemingly that I can't sleep well since... ages ago.

Wondering what will I be doing during this Christmas. The best day of my life. Enjoying season greetings from every corner. Hey, don't get me wrong, I still like my job but all I could think of is Christmas. I would even stand still in front of the Christmas tree in the Green Gallery to ponder about the significant of Christmas every year. Christmas is near and I can feel it.

Last three things I would do for myself before the end of 2008 - Sending warm Christmas greetings to everyone, especially it is my tradition to send out Christmas cards load with three wise man, Mary's Boy Child and the jingle bell rock that would take your breath away. The second would be Christmas itself - 25 December. 20 days from now... Jolly good. The third thing... well, you'll know it in the future of my blog entry.

Christmas isn't Christmas is running on my head over and over again.

This is the closet I find to portray the whole Christmas is coming soon...

Till then, Happy Thanksgiving to all.

=)

- Hectic months -

Indeed, it's a hectic month.... No no.. two months straight working daily without any off or leave that I would wanna apply, yet. I can't catch my breath even for the weekend. I always thought that on call for 24-7 is a good thing when we start working and all. When I thought about it like months ago, it depends whether we like to do the task or not.

For me, it was tremendously unexpected and things could go out of hand. We would expect the worst come next. Thus, I am not in peace. Haven had my good sleep for months. Even I was sick end of last month, I will always be haunted by the heavy and huge task piling up my cubicle. I would manage it like I usually do. Guess it's not the same anymore compare when I was still studying in Uni last time.

Yes, indeed again that freedom separate us apart. Nonetheless, I will always hope for the best and do whatever I can to cope up. Even though its coming to a year now, I simply couldn't get over my sleeping disorder. If you want to distribute more task, U would have to wait because I'm out of hand these two weeks. It's enough that typically, I'm working solo and it's all depend on myself last week. This week onwards, its another extreme hectic disorder that will stick with me.

*Scratching my head*

*pause long time before continue to write something while listening to songs*

*Still pondering what could have gone wrong*

*My USB port burn off, short circuit i presume*

*Can't do much on my PC now*

OK! Believe it or not, I'm so tired after receiving a message that would makes you furious till now. Screaming out would be a good idea. Two weeks ago, I was on my line doing some test and suddenly came a text message that would makes me go nuts till i loose my mind. Imagine you have been going through a very exhausted week, at the end of the day, it was just so furious that I really don't know how angry and furious expression is anymore. It was like something sharp and heavy suddenly hit on you and you FROZE!!! Big time. That's how i felt.

Exhausted, plus don't know how to get angry anymore. It's like no matter who's making me angry later, i really don't want to argue. Sometimes, I just stood still in the middle of the corridor, so long that I've lost track of the time. Now, I have come up with plans that will continue till the end of the year. Long one.

Am planning to attend the MPYO tours which will held in Kuching in 12 December at 8pm. Hopefully this will reattain back my sense. DECEMBER??? What about end of November?? no plans?? Let the day flow by itself. Won't do any drastic measurement.

Anyway, I hope none of my non-sense I have wrote de-motivate any of you. I need lights and sense of direction to proceed to my next steps.

Signing out...

Season Greetings from me~~

- Who wanna ride the "Next Plane Home" with me -

Daniel Powter - Next Plane Home

I woke up early to baby blue eyes from the afar whoah whoah
and when the sun comes through and lights you like the angel you are whoah whoah
I know I do you wrong when I’m with you I’ve been gone

With every season change, it looks the same (november to june) whoah whoah
And dont these empty streets skip a beat the flowers dont bloom whoah whoah

I can’t believe I missed your birthday again
and I wanna come back but I just don’t know when now

And I’m so lonely your not here with me
That’s why I’m gonna be on the next plane home

The road that never ends around the bend I see your smile whoah whoah
I’d swim across the sea to be with you for a while whoah whoah
cos I’m made a life would be gone
now the way that I feel I just don’t belong

And I’m so lonely you’re not here with me
thats why I’m gonna be on the next plane home
And you’re you’re the only face I wanna see
thats why I’m gonna be on the next plane home

Stand around try to make every moment
and be somebody yeah anybody
it seems the whole world is taking me over
I need somebody to help me get back to it

and I’ve always been a million miles away
but things are gonna change
I just wanna come home

And you’re you’re the only face I wanna see
thats why I gonna be on the next plane home
yeah I’m taking the next plane home
Now I’m getting the next plane home
Now I’m taking the next plane home

- Something's Approaching -

It was 2 days working and 3 days.... Yeah.. 3 days off last week. 1 day sick leave and 2 days training. The company sent me and others to the technical report writing talk. It was a two days full of knowledge and skill stuff into my head. One of them is the 'Power of Punctuation'. It was said that punctuation is one of the most important thing you need to check after writing long report. For example,
"Hang Him Not Kill Him"

"Woman without her man is nothing"

"Shooting leaves one wounded"

The statements above are given as an example of not putting it in such a way, punctuation is not used. Some of it does make sense but it depends wad statement is being made. When you insert punctuation such as coma, or colon like this,

"Hang Him, Not Kill Him" vs "Hang Him Not, Kill Him"

"Woman: Without her, man is nothing"

"Shooting leaves, one wounded"

The above statement are used with punctuation. Crazy Isn't it. I can imagine last time I did lots of mistake in my statement because of punctuation as well. Anyhow, punctuation is categorized in the proofreading section. Proofreading is a method where we actually spend the 25% of our time putting everything together, read and check through our report writing. It starts from revise, followed by produce and proofreading.

One thing that's new to me. Do you know about "Flesch Reading Ease"? It's a function in Microsoft words that will tell us how difficult the journal, news, paragraph or other reading journal is by the rules below.

0 - 30 for University Student

60 - 70 for 13 - 15 years old

90 - 100 for 11 Year old

121 is for highest possible score

It means that if the paragraph is rated 30, the person must be someone who writes journal or thesis or an article which is hard to understand. The paragraph is easier to understand when the ranking number above goes higher. An example would be Reader's Digest rank 65 while Time Magazine ranked 52. Let me show you if you still don't understand. I'm using Words 2007. Activate it in word Options on your word button, and choose Proofing tab. Check the show readability statistic (as shown in the picture below).

Go to Review tab and go to check for Spelling and Grammar. Click on it and ignore all the dictionary words until it shows something like this.

If you click on the picture above it will show you the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level which is 15.4. Pretty hard to understand the whole article. Interesting function.

That's pretty much gonna save time for me to survey my article for readability.

Cheerz~~

p/s: Still coughing because I was caught red handed eating durian. YIKS!!!!!!!!

- Melamine -

So, I guess I need to educate myself more on this poisonous substances. Google Melamine and you'll know what I mean. Here's a brief story about Melamine. It starts like this.

Better double check with BFAD's advisory which brands (among the ones
mentioned here) are already negative with Melamine before we buy these.

Thank you.

What really is poisoned milk? It's the milk powder mixed with 'MELAMINE'.

What is Melamine Used for? It is an industrial chemical used in production of melawares and home decoration 'US resistant Board'

DO YOU UNDERSTAND?? MELAMINE IS USED IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION, IT CANNOT BE EATEN!!!

Why is Melamine added in milk powder? The most important nutrient in milk is protein and Melamine has the same protein that contains nitrogen.

Adding Melamine in milk reduces milk content and it is cheaper then milk so it lowers capitalization. It can give the business man more profit. Below is Melamine, doesn't it look like milk as it also does not have any smell, which is undetected.

4. When was it discovered? 2007 - Cats and dogs died suddenly - they found the pet food from China contains Melamine.

In 2008, abnormality starts to increase in infant cases of kidney stones in China.

In August 2008, China Sanlu milk powder tested with Melamine.

September 2008 - NZ Gov asked China to check this problem - Results: lots of food products in Taiwan tested with Melamine.

What happens when Melamine is digested? Melamine remains inside the kidney. It forms into stones blocking the tubes. Pain will be eminent and person cannot urinate. Kidney will then swell.

Although surgery can remove the stones, but it will cause irreversible kidney damage. It can lead to loss of kidney function and will require kidney dialysis or lead to death because of uremia.

What is dialysis? Also called 'blood washing' means filtering all the blood in the body into the machine and then go back to the body.

The whole process takes 4 hours and it is necessary to dialysis once for every 3 days for the rest of ur life.

Here's a glimpse of a dialysis centre.

Food and companies affected are as follows.

I really wish to continue this... but having to say Melamine is bad for all, in short.

Anyway, I'll be signing off by leaving u guys a riddle.

Five Frogs are sitting on a log. Four decide to jump off. How many are left??

Some of you might know the answer, so have fun~~~

- The King of Fruits -

In spite of being super busy for the past two weeks, finally I manage to end up consulting my doctor for meds. Yeah, you can say I'm in pretty bad shape now. I can't even eat the king of all fruits. It's amazing how I can still survived all these while.

You might be wondering what I have installed for myself till some of my friends were wondering that I have disappear from the thin air. It was the most "OVERWORKED" day of my life for the past two weeks. It was horrible and things somehow got out of hand somehow. I can say, without me they still can survive but when I'm around, responsibility are just putting it up for me in my mail. You can say my boss bomb my mail, for good.

Up until last Wednesday, my throat starts to grumble about me not being able to take care of myself properly. First of all, it's the all time Sushi King promotion which I have no idea the cat citizens are anticipate to eat all you can at RM2 per plate. It's horrible queue and we went to Alfredo instead. Too much comments made to compensate for not eating Sushi that night.

Thursday came, and I have to pop up paracetamol to clear my dizziness in my head. As far as I concern, all i do is to have a warm heart to concern about you, and you shoot back at me for being notoriously dispatch my sense of happiness towards you.

Friday was "Mamma Mia" Night. I make it clear to myself that after I watched Mamma Mia that I would update this narrative of mine. To be precise, It was a heck nice movies as the people are enjoying the movie and it's like a sing along drama. Count me in as I enjoyed the movie pretty much.

Saturday was and is always the marathon day for me to catch up the new series release. Good gracious, I feel the pain and I'm pondering when will I see my doctor. It's a dead Saturday as I was given two choices - To see the doctor after meal or hanging on by recovering myself. I choose the latter instead.

It got worst this morning and I have no choice just to see the doctor. I hate meds. I hate Meds very very much. My ugly flame is partly due to contagious viral of one of my colleague who happens to be in bad shape for the last two weeks. Argh!!!! Next time I would take extra precaution as to stay away from them at least 6 inches. That's it.

To clafiry my title for today, I CAN'T EAT DURIAN!!!!! As this is not a complain but self pitiness. I can eat but it will come with a price that I would ruin my day onwards. My uncle brought a huge one just now. It was so tempting that I am piss with them. Lol~~~

Hope Durian season will not end abruptly as I still need to savor one of my favorite food. Oh ya, Honey dew as well (honey dew is sold at RM2.50 per fruit... DAMN CHEAP!!!). Oh well, let me recover from my grumbly flame before I could savor you, King of fruits..

Muahahahahahahhahahahahhaha~~~~~~ *Evil Laugh*

- Impressive -

Blind people are pretty much living in a good life nowadays. Couple blocks from my house, there's a blind massage center. Couple of my friends try it out and some commented, they provide great massages and pretty much the blind people have made their earnings successful. In terms of those blind people you have seen sitting on one side of the mall, playing anonymous songs on their electrical keyboard, and some just selling tissue with their kids on the bridge somewhere in the city itself.

While passing by this shop near my house this afternoon, I saw a very impressive blind man who somehow is a better musician than me.

This blind man is playing violin?!?!?!?!?!? What the heck... I was so impress with his skill and although he probably don't have the a degree or something in music. But hey, at least there's passer by who are being considerate and put down couple of bucks for the "magnificent blind violin player". BRAVO!

What next??? Blind people develop their skills and drumming across the road side? Lets face it. They are just blind. Somehow they are better than some of us if they polish up theirs skills.

Impressive indeed.

- Long holiday -

Yes... I've been having a long weekend from work. Got my time off from work today. Yesterday was celebrating my dad's birthday. Bake a cake for him together with my mom. Sponge Cheese Cake. Taste excellent. can't believe first time i do, success is within my hand.. hehe... well, anyway, i was suppose to post something interesting up these days. Probably tomorrow. As for today, i was busy with my work, which indirectly I need to do at home, for some reason. Don't even know how long would i manage this 24 hours on call. I do need a break somehow. Been to only 2 houses for Raya.

Last week i was really in a bad mood. Friday night i got my "saman" while parking at the yellow line at the airport. It's only half and hour though.. and i got a ticket from JPJ blidly. On saturda, i was getting my packages from the Post Laju. You know what the girl at the attendance said to me? "I'm sorry to inform you that your packages has been transfer to the other post laju....:" WTF!!!!! what she do is just cancel it off and write another new address for me.

This is it.. and she try to drew a map for me beside the original location where i suppose to retrieve my package. I cut her off angrily when she started to draw the location for me, AGAIN! Sh*t. I told her i know where the location is. Damn it. I need to drive there and retieve it.. That's not bad enough. After retrieving my package, it seems like there's a FRAGILE sign on the side of the box. When i shake it, i heard some sort of pieces of glass shaking in the package. Damn.. i knew it..

And this is how it looks when i unwrapped it.

Damn you postman!!!! Can't you read the FRAGILE SIGN!!!!! Now i have to superglue it back...

Damn sien...

ARGH!!!!!!!
