Besides, I'm quite sure that everyone is leaving soon, somehow. Angeline will be leaving to Perth for final semester as well as Sharon. Good Luck and all the best in your future undertakings. Send my regards to Adrian though. Haha...
Last week I went to Mr Ho's Fine Food located in crown towers. The place was nice and all as i went with my parents. Initially, I ask the waiter to buy us some times to browse through the menu. It was typical and expected as they serve good pork, ham and other stuff like western meal as well as Italian.
Seconds later, the waiter came again. Introducing us the special meal, serves specially for family portion - The so call Bak Ku Teh in Mr Ho. I search in the menu trying to look for any Bak Ku Teh. It seems that i was deviated from Italian food instead. I wanted to ordered it but, you know what? The waiter was like "The Bak Ku Teh was famous and suitable for family portion, bla bla bla... " Hmmm.. on second thoughts i was astonish by the waiter. Since it was one of Mr Ho's famous, I ordered the Bak Ku Teh and the Ceaser Salad, just enough to fill us in i guess.
The Ceaser Salad was nice, considering I like roman lettuce very much. Somehow it was a little bit salty. When the Bak Ku Teh came, i was more astonish to see the dish. It was... nothing like "Go Fun Kee Bak Ku Teh". Ok, Imagine you are a fan of Bak Ku Teh as the dish conatains those Bak Ku Teh herbs and everything. Yes, i see you all starting to have saliva all over the place. Guess what? It turns out the Famous Mr Ho's Bak Ku Teh is not that nice after all. It taste like they cook the Bak Ku Teh from the packet from supermarket and by means of adding sugar into it. YIKS!!!!! It tasted like "zhu yuk tong soi" rather than Bak Ku Teh. It was tremendously sucky as that time there were no customer. Worst case scenario, me and my parents force ourself to eat. To make things worst, one of the waitress was standing just beside our table the whole time watching us swallowing the super bad taste Bak Ku Teh. YUKS!!! and damn the waitress.
I rather go to Causeway bay to eat the Hong Kong delicacies. I think that was the first and the last time i will ever order Bak Ku Teh in Mr Ho's. Kuching had just open a new mall in BDC - Green Heights mall, and my colleague was making fun of this shop...
Say it ten time very very fast and you'll know what I meant. LOL....
Anyway, this is one of the best place in Kuching if you want to go for breakfast. Located somewhere in Jalan Keretapi, Bormil Estate, the Shanghai... somthing something haha.. can't remember the name. The most famous among the menu is the famous Shanghai Siew Long Pau. Let the pictures below tell the story.
and not to forget... the aftermath...
Guess that sums it up..
It was a beautiful and typical Sunday. I was being so generous to attain a blood donation campaign in Saberkas.
The experience, i dont dare to see the needle though i wanted to donate. After the donation, i found my hand got swollen. The guy who poke needle in me says it was nothing.. Alright.. Pour some ice at home and it was fine..
First day...
Good.. i think... and it got worst...
I went to see the doc, the doc consulted me saying that it is normal for some as it will heal. This happened for some reason. hmmm.. wanna know why?? I won't tell.. haha..
Till now.. it's still the same.. Pain and terrible feeling...
Signing out..
