- My second last week free from study -

I wonder how would i spend on my second last week free from study in my Uni life. As a matter of fact, i got tons of Volumes and assignment plus projects for submission after week free from study. Week 10 of course passes very very fast as i notice tomorrow is the middle of October already. Like i've said in the previous post quite a number of events happenings which i have not time to blog.

Going back in time. I was watching An Inconvenient truth, a documentary about our earth, polluted earth cover and traps with humongous carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide that causes green house effect to the earth. It was a suspense for me and i was terrified seeing that earth would comes to an end one day. Deforestation, erosion, air pollution by all the gas processing and industries that produce vast amount of waste, ahem... not each year. It's everyday single minutes and seconds while i am typing every word here, millions of tons of waste has been generated from the factories and refineries. Developing countries such as United States, China, Japan and Europe are having the problem of "Tak Apa" as there are constantly generating waste (from solid, liquid and vapor waste) that could eventually leads to the destruction of our mother nature. Like Mr Al Gore said in the documentary, we never had such problems in the past, whereby the carbon monoxide generating are way past the projecting screen. What will happened in 50 years time?? Will another ice age comes? Saves our world now before its too late. This documentary has won Mr Al Gore Nobel Prize. Didn't you notice why Miri's weather and climate has change so drastically this few weeks?? and yet, as a chemical engineer, we are still designing various plant to earn money. Ironic isn't it?? For more information, visit their website at http://www.climatecrisis.net/. By the way, anyone wants the Documentary?? Get it from me anytime.

Right, talk about the real life again, last month was the month full of events that i, myself couldn't even breath. Though i have lots of assignments and projects to be done, I'm still able to hold the OC position for CSS in the Curtin Open Day. Day by day i was doubting myself for not doing a great job but it turns out.... real satisfaction in myself. For starters, The Curtin Open Day 2007, it's an annual events that bring all the Curtin students together, from Music club to Varsit Christian Fellowship and from Curtin Marketing Club to Rotract Club. Overall Its a successful events this year as CSS has emerged again to the fifth year as the Top sellers in Carnival or Open day. Coincidently, this is our fifth year anniversary for CSS. Happy belated Birthday to CSS. Here are some of the picture take from Curtin Open Day 2007.
