It's drawing near. 2007 is almost up. No more months. Only days and hours, minutes with seconds. Till then i wish all of you a blessed Merry Christmas, Boxing Day and Happy New Year 2008.

- Interview or Interviews -

I receive a called from Hua Lon Corporation, a textile company in KL where the plant is located in Nilai/Seremban. It's my first interview and I was happy that work is coming for me.

Yesterday, I received a called from Tai Kwong-Yokohama Battery Industries Sdn. Bhd. The company is located in Semenyih, also in KL.

Couple of solutions i have now:
1. Go to KL and go for the interview(s).
2. Reasons on going: gain experience, go for it and do whatever i like.. Oh and the important thing is $$$ out again.. and i can earn my own for now.
3. The flight ticket is ROCKET SKY HIGH!!!!!! I am having doubts on making decision on flying there... need your views about it.
4. Accommodation: Good way is to "fan kai". I am reluctantly staying at my cousins place for so long also for nothing, yet i need to transfer to another friend's house. I need a place to stay.... *being VERY thick face* now.
5. Last but not least, I can choose not to go.

So whatever it is, i'm still in a dilemma to make such a hasty decision. Let me know your view asap. WAH!!!!! I'm in serious problems here...

- Kuching Best Chau Mien and Cha Kueh TIaw, or is it??? -

Yes... Guess some of you might have tasted it and some of you still wondering, "hmm... is it??"

Yes it is..


Situated in front of Goh Say Lak in Green Road, this uncle has been selling chau mien and cha kueh tiaw for almost 20 years (i guess) or so already. Well, what makes the chau mien nice?? of course, "zhu you", direct translation is pig oil and "tu eww" in hokkien. Literary i don't mean the oil is extracted directly from the pig. It's the secret ingredients that makes people wanna take away the fried mee and fried kueh tiaw.

With the help of his wife, i think it makes the business more successful. Not only that, the Chili is damn spicy and it will direct you to toilet first thing in the morning tomorrow. Well, for those who are having constipation, u can try out the chili. But something caught my attention which i never notice all this while. I think they just change the price tag because everything is getting expensive now.

- The 100th Post -

Happy 100th Post. Yeah i know. It's just another Sunday... Oh ooo. haha.. Right. Nothing special going on. For the past one week I was in Kuching, still jobless. Nonetheless, Christmas approaching and new year resolution is giving me a headache again. Advance Wishes from me first.

Looking at my phone, i pressed on the number on the keypad. It was 3 am in the morning. Sigh.. The air conditioner was open full blaze... i was having a hard time to adjust the speed of the fan... Nevertheless, i went back to sleep ignoring how cold i would get.

615am
RING!!!!!! RING!!!!!! The alarm on my phone rang. It was time to wake up and pack all the stuff. Clean up myself and wait for Alex to come to pick me up for my flight at 835am.

7am
Still, where is he?? I gave him a wake up called just now around 615am just now. Probably still packing i guess. Pau woke up. Morning...

730am
Shit.. where is he?? we are late for breakfast already. how about my flight??

740am
BEEP BEEP!!!!! "URGENT, For the flight from Miri to Kuching with flight AK5933, your flight has been delayed till 1005am." WTF!!!!! OMG.... now baru sms me. I should have been late cause i'm still in Senadin. Never mind. Pau is coming with us to breakfast.

815 am
Reached Miri International Airport and saw Ai Fang. She don't want to go breakfast with us. I went to double checked the flight. Its confirmed delayed. Well, at least i have couple of hours to kill for having my last breakfast in Miri. YAY!!!!

830am
Had my breakfast in "YAKIN". The best "yao cha guai" yet in Miri. "Tapao" breakfast for Ai Fang. After that, we went to buy "lao po ping" in Krokop. Bought like RM4 then quickly went back to the airport.

930 am
Reached airport once again. Gave Ai Fang her breakfast and took some photos with Pau and Ai Fang. Pau left and we quickly went into the boarding area. Well, Goodbye Miri. Its such a wonderful time knowing you for 5 years already. It's time for me to depart back to my hometown to start a new chapter of my life again.

1005am
"Ladies and Gentleman, Flight AK5933 has been delayed till further notice due to technical problems. You may come to the counter here to attain your meal voucher." OMG!!!!! WTF!!!! !@#$@@%$#%$%#^$*^%&)$*.... ok i would like to scold all those bad words now but i was convincing Ai Fang about the flight won't be delayed so long eh... Keep our finger cross...

Shit.. yeah the flight has been delayed for at least 2 hours now. What's going on???

Airport Employee: I'm afraid that the plane is having a mechanical problems and the engineer is trying their best to fix their problems.
Me: So that means you have no ideas what time will the flight schedule to be right?
Airport Employee: Yes and can you write your name and your phone number here so that if anything, we can called you??
Me: Alright. Here's our departure tickets.
Airport Employee: And here's your meal voucher. Enjoy!!!

Sigh... Luckily Ai Fang bought her laptop with her or else we'll be stuck in the airport without any entertainment. We watch like couple episodes of HK series and one movies. I told Ai Fang... I think we will definitely meet up with Pau later cause he and his friends will be going to KK later as well. In the mean time, i went around the airport to take some pictures.

It's the same exactly the same day i went back to Kuching this time around one year ago. Just that it was a sad ending for me everytime. Couldn't imagine how God had plan such a delayed for me. Its really been one year since...

- Trap and Release: Part II -

I'm back to finish off my last piece of memory in Miri. It's time to show my empty house. It took me and my housemates whole day long to clean everything and threw everything away. The house looks so clean, even the agent said she seldom see guys house so clean... Wanna know the secret??

This is the rubbish for two years plus the 3 years from other houses. That's not it. Actually we threw some of our rubbish to our neighbor also. They are actually back to Bintulu already so guess no one knows about it. Don't ask me why we are not being sustainable enough to bring back all the rubbish. To tell u the truth, I brought back most of my stuffs and overall, i pack 16 boxes and it only cost RM200.

- Trap and Release: Part 1 -

It's time to wrap up my trip in Miri. Yes. I was planning to break it into 2 parts of this blog entry. Nonetheless, its been a great experience for me in the last week of staying in Miri.

It's been 5 years. Can't imagine time pass so fast that i couldn't even recall how much Pearl Milk Tea have i drank or how many times i've been down town to kill times. Sure this is the memories that will last forever. My last mammoth mass was last Sunday. It was grand and as usual, we need to find seats in the indoor stadium.

People flooding into the stadium like ants and in just a second, seats are fully filled and people could just stand someone none empty. Well, i'm gonna miss this kinda experience i've been through as this is once a year event in Miri. Anyhow, good things will always comes to an end.

Anyway, that's not only the good things i wanted to talk about. Activities piling up for the past few days and i can't even online and pen some words about it. Hard don't u think?? Nevertheless, i started to miss all my friends in Miri. The good old days. It funny how things can turn upside down and inside out.. ha.. don't care about that..

One of the things i'll miss the most is the CHEESE CAKES in Marriott Hotel. Wow... it's simply outrageous and delicious. Though i ate lots in dinner that night, i still can swallow the whole cheese cake. Oooo.. i ordered the Marble cheese cake and hot chocolate... HEAVEN!!!!!! I wish...

And the chocolate something something is damn delicious.. Pau had ordered it.. and we all crushed it.. sadly no picture of crushing chocolate cheese cake. ha....

Yum Yum eh.... the environment there is tremendously elegant and the next thing u know, u could fell asleep at the spot.... hmmm not possible. ha. cause i wanna stay there... wait till next time if i'm going back to miri and earn lots of $$$$ first....


This is the tallest mix coffee i had seen so far. Its a mixture of couple of coffee.. can't remember what its called. hmmm forgot to ask about the taste also. But... ah.... i will always remember the sweetness and the most conducive night....

Nine2Five - One of my favorite place to hang out in Miri and its recommended to all who is visiting Miri now or in the future. The cafe restaurant offered lots of choices from breakfast to lunch, high tea and dinner. Affordable and two thumbs up. Try the Pandan Chicken for your dinner and you'll be coming back for second time.

San Francisco Coffee - Another recommended place for u to try their famous cheese cake and drinks that serves fresh on spot. Cheese cake for recommendation is Oreo cheese cake. The best yet. Must try - Quiche... A triangular slice chicken pie-like with mayo and heavy egg like custard stuff inside. 3 - thumbs up... opss.. i used my foot toe...

- CUTSE 2007: Second Day -

PRESENTATION DAY!!!!!!

I'm nervous, seriously because i'm gonna do my presentation today.. WAH!!!! Guess what?? i just finish my slide like hours before i slept. I simply doze of.. God's knows when. And i woke up around 3 am to rehearse.. Crazy u called me... I'm serious. NO... Can't sleep after that but i manage to doze of around 5 ... slept one more hour and up I went to clean up myself...

WAH!!!! i'm the second to present early in the morning. Luckily most of the people are still sleeping. Ha.. Nice.. Good moves. No one will see my presentation. Great.. Ha.. i'm not Nervous at all when i'm presenting in Lecture Theater where few years back i remember i did a presentation before in LT too.

- CUTSE 2007: First Day -

Curtin University of Technology of Sarawak Engineering Conference (CUTSE) 2007 is back again. This time, i'm not the audiences in the crowd no more. I'm one of the presenter in Chemical Engineering Stream. It's a proud and honor moment to present our research paper for everyone to listen and those junior that are gonna gain experienced from this conference.

At early as 730 am already we reach the Harry Perkins Lecture Hall Foyer to register ourselves. Everyone looks smart today as they all wear professionally to present. As for some student, happily jumping high as some of them already presented their paper and some of my classmates presented their poster presentation.


This year, there's about 130 Students from Curtin, inclusive University such as Monash, USM, UTP and some other university in Malaysia will come and witness the presentation as well as joining the presentation. For me, i haven finish my slide for the presentation for second day. Hopefully by tonight i'll finish the slides. Anyway, it's scary how u need to warm up first before you presenting the next day. Seeing people being asked questions by some of the keynote and industrial speakers, i was like.... mmmmm ok.... that's interesting. I hope i can answer those question the next day.

- Chronology of my Study life at the end of Semester -

OMG!!!!!! Lots of peeps say that when i finish my exam on Wednesday, 3 days ago to be precise. I'm not sure what to feel or what to say also. Mix feeling to be precise. Part of me can't wait to get out of here and Part of me will miss all the good time here..... especially final exam for ever semester........ -.-'''''' YEAH RIGHT!!!! haha..... Well, it's the time to say goodbye again. End of the year is here and Holiday seasons is just getting started. Rehearsal for Christmas caroling is started one month before Christmas already... not really, before my exam finish already peeps say that they are rehearsing for it.

Anyway, it's been a great semester and lots of unexpected stuffs happened which is why I LIKE!!!! It's not that i'm not being able to arrange my time properly, it's just that i want to do stuffs that most peeps cant do at this time around. Getting busy all the time. First of all is the Prom Night. Sorry guys. Can't post any of the pix yet.. will be a surprise for the 100th Post later and second of all. it's Melissa's Birthday.

I remember that the first time when she was here, it was the most enjoyable time for me. Saying enjoyable means that i had my 50% test the next day of my year. Extreme i would say but i enjoyed it very much. Aside from Splashing each other with water, wet everyone, and face full of icing, with icing become hair shampoo (yiks) to well, it's i remember its raining that night also. We went back home only at around 2 or 3 am. Can't remember. This year, it was kind of like a mature type of Melissa celebrating his birthday. Congratulations Miss President of Student Council 2008. Good luck and do take care of the students welfare wor.. hahah...

Make a Wish: "I wish i can be fat and one day and Jackson will behave himself..... hmmm but i only can make one wish..... so, ummm here goes nothing."

Besides, most of the time i spend without studying kind of situation. Not true actually. Cause half of the semester i spend camping in the uni lab to do my design project. Aside from that, it's research project and other units taken as well. Site visit to SMDS in Bintulu is memorable and we learn lotsa things about the Middle Distillate Synthesis Plant in Shell, especially we get to see the life size of the Air Separation Unit (ASU) which is part of our design project as well. Thanks to those Shell employees for the explanation from A to Z of the plant. Thanks to our lecturer Dr. Veena Doshi. She's such a wonderful lecturer.

I got my hair cut before the final exam also and i spend half of my time studying in Coffee Bean as mention in previous blog. Kinda ironic how i end up in CB all the time. Course i can't study at home. That's why. Apart from the whole semester didn't get to fix my fluorescent light in my room, movies and serious are temptation for me. WAH!!!!! Lots of time for me to watch those series now.

Exams finish!!!! YAY!!!! My last last last exam of my study life. Can't wait to go out and expose myself more now. Erm.. not the other way around. Go find work la.. what do you think i'm implying?? Christmas Tree was set up in Bintang weeks ago and Christmas songs starts playing everywhere and it's Anne's Birthday on 14 of November.

Drinks are kinda expensive while the environment is conducive with songs and peeps to look at.. haha... Am gonna miss the Full moon toast in Uni also. My regular in my foundation and first year until second year, i venture into something great.. Great food not only limited to these. Cheesecakes in Coffee Bean i already ate all and erm.. i wanna try something new now.. especially cheesecake and stuffs.
